Skarv Hub

The Skarv Hub, operated by Aker BP is located in the northern part of the Norwegian Sea, in the heart of a core strategic area for Harbour Energy containing several exploration concessions, discoveries and ongoing field developments in which we have an interest.

The Skarv Hub producing fields – Skarv, Idun, Ærfugl, Ærfugl Nord and Gråsel in which Harbour Energy has a 28.08% non-operated interest – have been developed via a Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel with subsea wells. The oil is offloaded to shuttle tankers, while the gas is transported via the Åsgard Transport System (ÅTS) to the Kårstø terminal.

Together with Ørn, Alve Nord (20% interest, non-operated) and Idun Nord (28% interest, non-operated) comprise the Skarv satellite project that is currently in development, with first gas expected in 2027.
